The Hot Chocolate 15K/5K is seeking energetic, hardworking volunteers to assist with the Hot Chocolate Runner Expo and Race Day events. Volunteers provide key support to the thousands of participants as they “run for chocolate” and the local Ronald McDonald House chapter.
With a variety of exciting and delicious positions available, there is a job for everyone, including individuals, teams, school groups, corporate groups, friends and family. The Hot Chocolate 15K/5K is not possible without the help of all our amazing volunteers, so come out and join the fun. No experience is required.
2013 volunteer registration will open on July 5th, 2013!
Volunteer Schedule
Hot Chocolate 15/5K Runner Expo
Dates: Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 2013
Location and Check In: . Volunteer Check-in located inside Columbus Convention Center.
Times: Vary based on registered shift. See registration page for shift times.
Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Race Day
Date: Sunday, November 17th, 2013
Location and Check In: Location TBA. Groups volunteering at water stations report directly to station. All others NOT at water station report to race site. Please see assignment.
Times: Vary based on assignment.*
Race Start time: 5k – 7:30am & 15k – 8:00am
*Volunteer shifts will begin 1-2 hours before race start.
