What is the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K?
Chicago's newest race to be held November 2nd, thrown by Running Away Multisport, proud owner of several of Chicago's other top events, known for the Best Goodie Bags anywhere!
If the Hot Chocolate 15K’s goodie bag, which consists of a Fleece Jacket, Wicking Runner’s Hat and Drawstring Backpack weren’t enough, the Post Race party is going to be the sweetest event ever. Just imagine dying and going to Chocolate Heaven, because it exists at the Hot Chocolate 15K’s Post Race Party!
Purpose
To give Chicago’s corporations a great event to have their employees participate in. To build team spirit as well as help to promote a corporations health and wellness program. Lastly, to promote your company and the fact that it participates in events like the Hot Chocolate 15K, another reason that employees vote companies the best to work for!
Who's Eligible?
Any corporation that has a minimum of 35 employees registered for the race, no later than Tuesday, October 28th.
What's the Cost?
Registration for the 2008 Hot Chocolate 15K/5K is $50.00/$40.00 respectively per racer, to be paid by each employee individually. We can make arrangements to accept payment from the corporation for their employees if so desired.
The Hot Chocolate 15K/5K does have a charity partner, Global Medical Brigades. We ask that each corporation donate $100.00 to the charity, separate from the employee’s registration. Not $100.00 per employee, just $100.00 per corporation.
How will the Corporate Challenge work?
The top five finishers of the 15K and/or 5K from each corporation will be entered against the other corporation’s top 5 finishers, and the first, second and third place corporations, in each division, will be announced during the awards ceremony and given a trophy for their outstanding efforts.
Additionally, we will mention all companies that participated in the corporate challenge and each companies first place male and female winner will be announced and given an award as well.
