Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a “home away from home” to families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. With 47 guest suites and a Family Care Center, we care for 20,000 family members each year.

Families can come for the day to relax, get a hot meal, take a nap, check email, or work off some stress in our exercise room. Children may use indoor and outdoor play spaces and our sports court—they can even attend school in our on-site classroom, operated in partnership with San Diego Unified School District. These services help families keep life as positive and normal as possible.
