Timing and Awards

The Hot Chocolate 15K/5K is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system.   Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib and remain so throughout the race.

There will be timing clocks at each mile marker along the course and the start and finish lines.

Official results will be posted online within 24 hours.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, and the top 3 finishers in each age group. Age groups are 15 and under, 16-19, 20-24 and every 5 years through 70+. All awards will be mailed within 6-8 weeks.

Awards Ceremony:

The awards ceremony is tentatively scheduled for 10:30 am. Only the top 3 overall male and female runners will be announced at the Post Race Party.
