Parking + Transit
We're expecting thousands of runners, volunteers and spectators on race day, so give yourself plenty of time on race morning--we don't want you to miss a minute of the fun! See below for some parking and transit options. Please keep in mind that rates and availability may vary on race morning.
Georgia World Congress Center Parking
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is offering a special discounted rate to our participants! Pre-purchased bundles of Expo and Race Day parking passes will be available for only $20, while Expo-only parking is $10 and Race Day-only parking is $15. All passes are on a first-come, first-served basis! Save time and money by pre-purchasing your parking passes here:
Expo & Race bundle save $5 valid 1/20 or 1/21, and 1/22
Expo day 1 valid 1/20 only
Expo day 2 valid 1/21 only
Race day valid 1/22 only*
(Please note: pre-purchased Expo & Race day bundle allows you to attend the Expo either Friday OR Saturday.)
*Race day parking rate is valid for registered participants and volunteers only, and will expire at 11AM on race morning. Currently registered participants and volunteers will receive an email with instructions on how to purchase race day parking.
The Red, and Magnum Decks are the closest options for Race Day parking, but they will all be affected by road closures on race morning. Please plan to arrive by 6:00am, to be sure you're able to access the lots. You can find information on the road closures here.
If you purchase a pass for the Red or Magnum Decks and are not able to access them after the race starts, the Marshalling Yard and the Blue and Yellow Lots will accept all pre-paid parking vouchers!
Downtown Atlanta Parking
There are other parking options in downtown Atlanta, so find your favorite local spot! Check out this interactive map to help you find one that works for you!
We also encourage our participants to consider taking public transit on race morning. The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's public transportation system comprised of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta. A single $2.50 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers. Please check your suggested arrival time carefully, to be sure you'll have enough time to get to the race site for your assigned start time. For more information on MARTA, visit www.itsmarta.com.
