Parking + Transit

Public Transit

Participants and spectators are encouraged to travel to Grant Park via public transportation. The Red line will be operating with earlier hours and longer trains on race morning. For travel information, or help planning your route, visit CTA’s Trip Planner.

Divvy bikes will be providing valet service at the "Millennium Park" station located at the corner of Michigan and Monroe from 6 AM - 1 PM. Please visit Divvy Bikes website for more information.

If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic congestion and street closures due to the race. Please keep in mind that posted road closures are subject to change on race morning, at the discretion of city officials.

The Metra train is another option for accessing downtown Chicago from the surrounding Northern, Southern, and Western Chicago suburbs. For more information about the Metra train line stops and schedules, please visit the Metra website. Please note that all Metra train lines run on a different schedule on Saturdays and Sundays! Runners should be aware that there is no Metra train that arrives downtown Chicago in time for the Race Start on Sunday morning. The Metra is a great option for accessing the Expo for packet pickup, and for race spectators.
